The Carolina Blast Raiser was created by a group of Special Operations Forces (SOF) veterans living in the Charlotte area who came together with the common goal to make an impact beyond the veteran community. Committee members were drawn to serve in SOF because of their strong desire to make a difference. The Carolina Blast Raiser is a platform that enables us to continue working as a team to make a positive contribution in our communities and beyond.
Darby is an Associate at Berkeley Capital Advisors and specializes in the underwriting and sale of single tenant properties throughout the country. Prior to joining Berkeley, Darby served in the United States Navy from 2016 to 2022 where he was stationed in San Diego, California and Virginia Beach, Virginia. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his friends and family.
Brenden works for Honeywell as a Senior Program Specialist and is the Managing Partner of Range Theory, where he enjoys sharing his passion for sport and competition through dynamic rifle and pistol shooting. Brenden also has 20 years of experience as a U.S. Army Special Forces team member and team commander on active duty and in the National Guard. He lives in Charlotte with his wife and three young daughters.
Dusty is the Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Infobelt. Dusty leads the company operations, with responsibilities for business in the US, UAE, Europe, and the UK. He also overseas Infobelt’s expansion efforts. Prior to Infobelt, Dusty was the COO for a large oil and gas company and served as the COO for a technology company working in the Defense Industry. Dusty has over 15 years of leadership experience and currently serves on multiple boards of directors.
Mike is a CPA at PwC within their Asset and Wealth Management sector. He has been with PwC for 12 years and manages global teams in the US, India, and Malaysia. In 2015 Mike enlisted in the Army and completed Special Forces training. He served for nine years, primarily with the 19th Special Forces Group in the National Guard before medically retiring. In addition to DeliverFund, Mike serves numerous local philanthropic efforts in an advisory, steering committee, or executive sponsor role.
Rhett was asked to join the CBR Organizing Committee to share valuable perspective as the only non-SOF veteran involved in creating the event. He is Owner and Broker in Charge of Carolina Timberland Sales, one of the region’s top producers for timberland transactions. Rhett's personal interests include fly fishing, hunting, hiking, and travelling to pursue those activities in new and interesting places.
